Blund

From the Norwegian blunde — meaning to doze, or to gently close one's eyes. That specific quality of rest: not sleep, not wakefulness, but the quiet in between. Modern interiors — whether a corporate lounge, a boutique hotel, or a living room — tend to offer plenty of places to sit but very few places to genuinely settle. Blund is designed to address that gap. Its high, enveloping back creates a natural sense of enclosure, giving the person in it a feeling of private pause even within a shared or open space. It's the kind of chair that signals permission to stop — to the person sitting down, and to everyone around them. At home in a hotel reception, a workplace breakout area, a residential reading corner, or a hospitality suite, Blund carries a composed, architectural presence without demanding the room. Its silhouette is sculptural but restrained — a softly wrapped seat, clean transitions between surfaces, and a minimal swivel base that keeps the overall feel light and contemporary. It wears texture well: deep bouclé, warm linen weave, fine tweed — fabrics that reward being touched, in a chair that's built to be used, returned to, and kept.
